The Roper Girl's tentacle attacks have gaps, but you can avoid them by quickly moving out of the straight line of sight. Try to make good use of the pins that are slightly off to the right.
Eventually with enough restarts I could get through, but what happened was the screen went black each time the platform made contact with the tendrils.
One other level further down I encountered black screens repeatedly as well when dropping one of the demons from above to directly stand behind another demon.

How does one beat level 4-3???? I can’t get the guy down without the tentacle lady spotting and killing him immediately???

Continuously crashes at stage 7-7 when I lower the platform.

Does this mean the game became slow and slowed down, causing it to crash?
I'll check that, but for now, try resetting and starting over from the previous stage.

This is the first time I've heard of this bug, so I'm not sure if I can reproduce it, but I'll look into it.
