Hello, game crashes each time i try to open the gallery or select a world from the hub (where you can buy weapons) any idea what the problem might be? my locale is set to japan
Im experiencing the same thing, try waiting 2 minutes without closing the game to see if it crashes or just takes a long ass time to load the stage like me,
In both cases I hope there is an easy solution for the dev, his game really looks like a gem.
Thanks for the bug report. This one might be caused by using Japanese text in a memo/notepad file or something similar. I’m not sure if I can fix it, and it looks like a tough one… but I’ll try to investigate.

there is a bug where if you make a save and than leave when you open the game and load the same save file the gun will shoot everywhere and rarely hits things (this happen to me a lot)
Heya, congrats on releasing your game, bought it on DL site.
The bug mentioned by some players is due to the way you save the data in the save.ini files, more specifically because of the kanjis in the variables name. You will never experience the bug as your computer is probably in Japanese Locale or another Locale supporting kanjis.
Every player which is not running the game on a Japanese locale computer (either through having your OS locale set to Japanese or by running the game via Locale Emulator or equivalent) will corrupt their save file every time they are saving.
Once they die, the game loads a corrupted save file, which then makes wonky things happen, like gun disappearing and firing weirdly, losing progress on stage, etc etc. (Saving the guns stats in the save file was probably not the best idea either :p Should probably have hardcoded them in the game code. That's why the guns shoot weirdly once the save is corrupted, the stats become messed up.)
As a rule of thumb, if you want to localize your game, try to stick to ASCII characters in your save files (or any set of characters which is present in every region). Avoid kanji, accents, or any weird characters.
For anyone experiencing problems after a load, you will have to delete your save file and play the game using either Locale Emulator, or by changing your computer Region to Japan. I insist, YOU HAVE TO DELETE THE SAVE FILE FIRST, the corrupted part may stick through a new game otherwise. Then do backups of your "data" folder regularly and never ever launch the game without being in Japanese Locale if you don't want to lose your save file.

From what you describe the loading process is definitely slowed down by something, but there are a lot of possible culprits. If you have an antivirus, you can try to disable it temporarily to check if it changes something (and then add an exception for the game afterward). Same if some kind of anticheat or other process scanning live apps are running on your computer. You also have the standard possibility of your graphical drivers not being up to date (unlikely to make a difference for this game, but you never know sometimes). The issue could also simply be related to optimization or some kind of incompatibility with ClickTeam Fusion, but in this case not much you could do on your end :/
Hope you'll be able to find a solution or that a patch may help you down the line!
No worries, hope you'll find a workaround :) An easy fix if you have enough control on the save format is to convert everything into base64 before saving. That way you don't have to change anything to your current save format. Not 100% certain how kanjis handle base64 conversion, but I don't think it should be an issue (hopefully).
I just got this after the first save point, and checking to see if it would happen to me... Also the shotgun I picked seems to be gone, and pushing up on the shotgun by the vendor won't get me a new one.
Game is good, but I do have to ask what the stars on the title mean. Sure I figured out that one is gotten for getting every gun and another for fully completing the gallerey, but what in the world are the other 4 about if you don't mind me asking. Does this require secret hunting, or is it something I'm expected to do because I already beat it and have every gun, so I'm not sure what else could be done.
Ah you needed to beat the game on casual mode. I see, I hadn't thought there was any achievements tied to the mode or that it would have different items in the shop. Thank you for clarifying that.
I was able to find the golden chest achievement before when I realized they didn't respawn, but I would have never guessed about the other difficulty. Thank you for answering my question, and may your next game be successful.

i have purchased the game that was released in DL site recently. There were a quite few bugs but it was not critical. However, stage 2B was problematic. There's a place where the wooden ground is too high for me to jump up to it and I cant proceed the game because of that. Could you please have a look and fix it if possible

Just to clarify, this is a known issue that sometimes occurs with applications built using Clickteam Fusion 2.5, the tool I used to develop the game. I also mentioned this briefly in the readme file.

This is my first time creating a gun shooting action game, so there are many shortcomings,
but I will fix small bugs little by little as I find them.

one more thing, if u die ur ammo will go really different places not directly horizontal and also vertically too. sometimes bosses gonna be immune they are the bugs tho
Also, the ammo clip gets completed distorted and would have like 100 bullets in a single clip, and you couldn't switch weapons anymore, you were stuck with the one you died with in your hand. I've also experienced this and hope you fix it, considering I'm planning on buying the full version.

I didn't take into consideration the player's PC language environment at all. It was a complete blind spot.

hey i think i came a cross a bug when you get downed by the ghost after you get back up the guns shots go's all over the place

yea no i still cant play, the game just says json rpc not found, or that i havent paid 10 dollars, i just did, it should work right

Yes you can! The $10 version is the complete version that features 15 types of monster girls, and is different from the $3 version.

Do you mean a bug in the shooting behavior when the Exorcist dies, and a bug where gun damage to bosses is sometimes not reflected?

no. if u die any monster and revive again then u cannot shoot horizontally. the ammo spreads everywhere and u cant proper shoot

It's a bug I've never encountered before, so it may take some time to address, but I will deal with it.
There seems to be a bug where your character gets stuck in a shocked animation during and after you meet the trader, softlocking the game.
